The Region of Waterloo International Airport located near Breslau, just
east of Kitchener on Fountain Street, has some scheduled flights should
you wish to come to Waterloo by air. Car rental is available at the airport.

- Exit 401 at Kitchener Hwy. 8 West (Exit 278)
- Exit 8 West at 7 East/85 Waterloo (Conestoga Parkway)
- Exit Conestoga Parkway (85 North) at University Ave. West and drive about 3.2 kilometres
- Main entrance to uWaterloo is on University Ave., one block west of Phillip
St. Watch for railway tracks and pedestrian overpass, get into right hand
lane and turn at next set of traffic lights
Roads to University of Waterloo
uWaterloo is located in south western Ontario, about one hour's drive west of Toronto airport, one hour east of London. Three Ontario highways enter Kitchener-Waterloo:
- Hwy. 8 from the south
- Hwy. 7 from the east and west
- Hwy. 85 from the north
Recommended Parking Location on Campus
When you visit our campus, please park your car in Lot "H," just
inside the campus entrance off University Avenue. Note that this parking lot does not open until 7:30 a.m.
Please note: there is a charge for all UW campus parking.
Rates vary and some distant parking lots offer a flat rate of $5.00 per
day.

- Space is limited and if this lot is full, speak to the attendant at Lot H anyway to be directed to another spot on campus.
