Most programs maintain individual work report writing guidelines for their students to follow. They also mark students' work reports.
Please check your academic department undergraduate web site for the correct guidelines or contact your program undergraduate advisor for assistance.
If your program does not publish guidelines, you can use the general work report writing guidelines published by CECA.
If you are in Engineering, please adhere to the following:
If you started Waterloo Engineering before the Fall of 2010 you are required to complete 4 work term reports (WKRPT 100/1, 200/1, 300/1, 400/1).
Work Term Report 100/1This information is for you if you started Waterloo Engineering in 1A in the Fall of 2010. Your work term report requirements are dictated by which option you are pursuing for your professional development courses (i.e., WATPD-Engineering or PDEng as outlined at:
http://www.engineering.uwaterloo.ca/watpd-engineering/students1a.html)
If you are pursuing PDEng: Four work reports (WKRPT 100/1, 200/1, 300/1, 400/1) are required. Requirements for Work Term Reports are the same as those outlined above for the 1A students prior to Fall 2010
If you are pursuing WATPD-Engineering: Three work term reports (WKRPT 200/1, 300/1, 400/1) are required, i.e., you must meet the work term report requirements of your academic program and questions can be directed to your program work term report co-ordinator or academic advisor.
