The following job opportunities received by CECA are advertised on JobMine, CECA online job application and interview system.


Co-op Jobs


Co-op jobs are organized into the following job types on JobMine.

Co-op
Applied Health Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Financial Management, Math, and Science students are eligible to search and apply to "Co-op" jobs only.

Co-op ARCH
Architecture students are eligible to search and apply "Co-op ARCH" jobs only.

Co-op CA
Public Accounting students are eligible to search and apply to "Co-op CA" jobs only. Financial Management students are not eligible to search or apply to Co-op CA jobs.


Graduating Jobs


As a Graduating Student (Bachelor, Masters, Doctorate) you can participate in the on campus beginning in the fall term prior to convocation. Check out the daily job postings advertised beginning in late August and daily thereafter. Organizations start recruiting in the fall for graduating students from both co-op and regular programs.

Interviews

On-campus fall term interviews begin early in October and run until December. On-campus winter term interviews take place from the beginning of January to early April. Check JobMine daily to select and/or to check for interview times.


Summer Jobs


Summer jobs are advertised to all students on JobMine. Registration is not necessary.

Part Time jobs are advertised to all students on JobMine.

Work Placement Jobs


Work Placement jobs are advertised to all students on JobMine.

The Work Placement Program provides full time employment opportunities between study terms for University of Waterloo students who meet all of the following criteria:
  • You must have applied for and have been granted OSAP or other provincial student aid funding and be in full-time studies during the academic term immediately prior to the work term
  • You must be returning to full-time degree studies at the University of Waterloo in the term immediately following this work placement and you must maintain satisfactory academic progress in accordance with the standards of the University.
Students who fail to maintain satisfactory academic progress in accordance with the standards of the University may be asked to terminate their Work Placement Program employment.


Alumni Jobs


An online job search is available to Waterloo alumni through the Waterloo Alumni web site. The Waterloo E-community is a secure web site that offers Waterloo alumni free electronic services to connect with friends and the university.

Join the E-community and then log in through the Office of Alumni Affairs website to view alumni jobs on JobMine. The service allows alumni free access to current job postings.
