Fall 2007 Edition

Editor's Note

Having an academic term throughout the summer is one benefits of co-op, which is not so widely-expressed.

Now if you tell this to any non-UW student, usually they’ll tell you, "That’s a shame" followed by a sympathetic head shake. But little do they know, spring terms in Waterloo are absolutely fantastic!

The campus is quiet, the buildings are air-conditioned, and what better way to work on your tan but by walking to class.

For you lucky readers on campus and those working hard on work-terms, take a few minutes and check out the summer sCo-op Student Features of DAC student, Majid Mirza who worked at Microsoft, and Nenad Miljovic who received a full year’s scholarship while on his work term.

Also, don’t forget to take a look at the new Jobmine restructuring plans and the mythbuster’s feature on the Ranking Number 9 myth.
